23. Bully

In class we watched a documentary on Bullying. I had saw this documentary on Netflix but never thought to watch it. It was very eye-opening seeing theses kids and families struggle with the effects of bullying. The documentary followed five families that have dealt with the struggle of bullies. Two of the five families lost their children to suicide due to bullying. After the death of their children it showed how hard it is to live their day to day lives. One family had to rearrange their house due to where their child had committed suicide. Bullying is becoming a major problem in schools, kids can be so mean as we got to see in that documentary. As a college student studying to become a teacher it does worry me thinking about having to see children bullied in the hallways, classrooms, etc. Bullying is something that needs to stop and as upcoming teachers we need to find a way to put a stop to it.
